The Eagles signed wide receiver DeAndre Carter on July, 28, 2018.
The 5-8, 190-pound All-American played his college ball at Sacramento State where he won the 2014 award for FCS Wide Receiver of the Year.
After signing with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2015, Carter spent time on the practice squads of the Ravens, Raiders, Patriots, and 49ers in the past three seasons.
In his senior year at Sacramento State in 2014, Carter earned All-America honors from The Sports Network, Associated Press, College Sports Madness, and the FCS Athletics Directors Association. He was also the only unanimous first team All-Big Sky selection.
Carter led the FCS during the regular season in 2014 with 99 receptions, 1,321 receiving yards, and 17 receiving touchdowns. Each set the Sacramento State single-season records. His reception total was the second best in Big Sky history and his 108 total points were the fourth most in school history and most by a non-running back.
