Quinyon Mitchell hit the ground running his rookie season and never looked back.
The league announced on Tuesday that the Eagles cornerback was ranked as the 47th best player in the league by his peers entering the 2026 season. Mitchell becomes the second Eagle to be named to the NFL's Top 100 Players of 2026, following quarterback Jalen Hurts who was announced last week at No. 56
This is Mitchell's second appearance on the list, having been ranked No. 49 last year as a rookie.
Mitchell only got better in 2025, earning his first first-team All-Pro and Pro Bowl selection. The second-year man out of Toledo finished first amongst NFL cornerbacks in catch rate allowed (41.6%), allowed zero touchdowns, and finished third in forced completions with 12 through the regular season. He also recorded 17 passes defended, leading the team.
Like his rookie season, Mitchell shined in the post season. In the Wild Card matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, the former runner up for Defensive Rookie of the Year intercepted Brock Purdy twice – a career high.
Mitchell's efforts earned him a first-team All-Pro selection alongside Cooper DeJean, as well as his first Pro Bowl selection. - Written by Caroline Connor
