The Philadelphia Eagles report to the Jefferson Health Training Complex for the start of 2026 Training Camp on Tuesday, July 28th. Over the next few weeks, PhiladelphiaEagles.com will get you ready by previewing the top storylines at each position. Today, a look at the offensive line, featuring a healthy Lane Johnson.

Did You Know?

Jordan Mailata competed on FOX's The Masked Singer in 2022, lasting three episodes before he was unmasked.

Returning Starters

The Eagles find themselves in a spot most NFL teams dream of. All the starters on the offensive line return for another year. Not only that, but all five projected starters were drafted by the Eagles.

Starting at left tackle is the former rugby league star, Jordan Mailata. Selected out of the NFL's International Pathway Program by the Eagles in 2018, Mailata has become the mainstay blindside protector, earning second-team All-Pro honors in 2024.

Standing at a whopping 6-foot-8 and 365 pounds, it is no surprise that the Eagles took a chance on the Australian. Mailata took part in 92 percent of the Eagles' offensive snaps last year, helping running back Saquon Barkley cross the 1,000-yard rushing mark for a second consecutive season.

Next to Mailata on the left is guard Landon Dickerson. In fact, the two are so close on and off the field that Mailata was Dickerson's best man at his wedding. Dickerson enters his sixth year with the Eagles since being drafted by the team back in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Dickerson has been just as impactful with the Eagles as he was at Alabama. The 2020 CFP National Champion has been named to three Pro Bowls, tied with Brandon Brooks (2016-21) for the most Pro Bowl selections by an Eagles guard.

At center, Cam Jurgens anchors the offensive line. The 6-foot-3, 303-pound former Nebraska Cornhusker joined the Eagles as a 2022 second-round pick and was named to his second consecutive Pro Bowl in 2025.

After battling through a back issue for most of 2025, Jurgens declared during June's minicamp that he is feeling much better entering training camp.

One of the biggest questions entering Training Camp last season was who the starting right guard would be. The front-runner was 2023 third-round pick Tyler Steen, who spent his two years with the Eagles as a backup. Come Week 1 of 2025, the Eagles walked out with a starting lineup of two former Alabama guards with Dickerson and Steen.

The 6-foot-6, 321-pound versatile guard started all 17 regular-season games for the Eagles in 2025, as well as the Wild Card matchup in the postseason.

While there were questions about the right guard position last year, the same could not be said about the right tackle. In fact, the starting spot hasn't been questioned in 13 years. Lane Johnson enters his 14th season with the Eagles since being drafted with the fourth overall pick by the team back in 2013.

The five-time All-Pro right tackle was having another strong year in Philadelphia before a foot injury in November forced Johnson to miss the rest of the season. Entering Training Camp, the 36-year-old says he is back to feeling 100 percent.

In the Mix

Veteran Fred Johnson enters his fourth year with the Eagles and ninth year in the NFL. Primarily used as a rotational tackle throughout his career, Johnson had his number 74 called when his namesake, Lane Johnson, went down with injury in November.

The 6-foot-7, 326-pound former Florida Gator played a career-high 59 percent of offensive team snaps in 2025. Fred Johnson will look to be another key contributor in the offensive line rotation, even if he is behind the other Johnson.

In the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, the Eagles opted to select a Boston College Eagle: Drew Kendall. The interior offensive lineman saw the field as a rookie, playing seven games and starting one at center. Entering his second year in Philadelphia, Kendall will look to rise up the depth chart this Training Camp.

Kendall wasn't the only offensive lineman drafted by the Eagles in 2025. In fact, he was one of three. One round later, the Eagles picked up Michigan's Myles Hinton. Unfortunately, the tackle spent his true rookie season on Injured Reserve. The 6-foot-7 right tackle does have experience with some Eagles teammates, protecting quarterback Tanner McKee when the two were at Stanford in 2022.

The third offensive lineman to be drafted in 2025 by the Eagles was Cam Williams out of Texas. Like Hinton, the tackle started the 2025 season on Injured Reserve but was activated for Week 18's matchup against the Commanders, playing 51 snaps. Both Hinton and Williams will look to separate themselves this Training Camp and earn a roster spot.

2025 undrafted free agent (UDFA) Hollin Pierce is also another second-year tackle looking to make the roster, spending 2025 on the team's practice squad. The New Jersey native stayed local, playing his college ball at Rutgers, being part of one of the Big Ten's best offensive line units in 2023.

There are also two other UDFAs from 2025 looking to make the squad, both of them being interior offensive linemen. Originally signed as a UDFA out of North Carolina by the Rams, Willie Lampkin was claimed off waivers by Philadelphia.

Meanwhile, Texas' Jake Majors started his career in Tampa after going undrafted in 2025. Majors was signed to the Eagles' practice squad in September, where he would spend the entirety of his rookie season.

New to the Nest

With the 68th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, the Eagles selected tackle Markel Bell out of the University of Miami, fresh off a CFP final performance. He started all 16 games as a senior for the Hurricanes, helping form one of the best offensive lines in the ACC in 2025.

What made Bell stand out from other tackle prospects this year? Well, Bell stands at a towering 6-foot-9. And yes, he did play basketball in high school.

The Eagles also drafted guard Micah Morris out of Georgia in the sixth round this year. The 6-foot-5, 336-pound Morris spent all five years in Athens, playing on two CFP National Championship-winning teams. With the depth at guard, #76 will be one to watch during Training Camp.

Tackle John Ojukwu was signed from the Titans in January to a reserve/future contract. Ojukwu played in 11 games for the Titans in 2024, his second year in the NFL after signing with Tennessee as a UDFA out of Boise State in 2023. The 6-foot-5 tackle registered 97 snaps in 2025, spending most of the season on the Titans' practice squad.

Just last month, the Eagles signed veteran guard Michael Jordan after June minicamp for his eighth NFL season. Drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Ohio State, Jordan has since played for the Panthers, Packers, Patriots, and most recently the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2025. The former Buckeye has started 49 out of 78 games played in the NFL.

The Eagles added another Alabama offensive lineman this offseason, signing guard Jaeden Roberts as an UDFA. Standing at 6-foot-5, 333 pounds, Roberts will face competition from the 2025 UDFAs for a roster spot.

Bird Call

Lane Johnson: "I love this game so much. I love competing with all my teammates. I love just, you know, becoming an older player. A lot of guys trimmed down in the 30s. I feel like my career has been opposite, where my career started blossoming in my 30s."
