The NFL announced Tuesday that Cooper DeJean was ranked as the 38th best player entering the 2026 NFL season by players across the league. This is the defensive back's second appearance NFL's Top 100 Players list, having been ranked No. 60 in 2025.
DeJean is the fourth Eagle so far to be named to the NFL's Top 100 Players of 2026, following Jalen Hurts (No. 56), Quinyon Mitchell (No. 47), and Zack Baun (No. 45).
The former Iowa Hawkeye allowed zero touch downs in 2025 while playing as a nickel corner. DeJean also improved in most statistical categories last season, recording 85 total tackles, 58 solo tackles, two interceptions, 16 passes defended, and a forced fumble in the regular season.
In Week 16 versus the Washington Commanders, DeJean recorded a career-high four passes defended en route to earning NFC Defensive Player of the Week. Along with Quinyon Mitchell, DeJean earned first-team All-Pro honors and a Pro bowl nod in 2025 for the first time in his career.
