One of the top special teams players in the league, Chris Maragos took a long and arduous road to even reach the NFL. He made it despite not receiving any offers to play football coming out of high school or any sort of ranking on Rivals. He walked on at both Western Michigan and Wisconsin as a receiver and received a scholarship offer for only his final season with the Badgers. He joined the 49ers as a rookie free agent in 2010 but became a special teams standout during a three-year tenure with Seattle from 2011-13, which included a Super Bowl championship. He joined the Eagles after signing a three-year contract in 2014 and was re-signed to a three-year extension (through 2019) in 2016.
