Community Involvement:

I am very passionate about my involvement with the nonprofit organization Dance Masters of America. I started as a student of this organization attending countless regional and national competitions, conventions, and summer intensives, and I am proud to now travel the country teaching for the very same organization that raised me. My work judging competitions and teaching at conventions directly contributes to the organization's mission of education, scholarship opportunities, access to quality training and community within the dance industry. I also serve my community through the dance studio where I teach, organizing a donation bin for gently worn dancewear and volunteering for school pickups, providing transportation for students whose families are unable to get them from school to dance. This has allowed me to build meaningful one-on-one connections and mentor students beyond the studio walls making it a truly rewarding way to give back.

Just Had to Share:

I love DIY crafts! This year I gifted over 100 hand painted ornaments to my dance students during the holidays. I have always loved arts and crafts ever since I was a little girl. I bake and decorate cakes for friends' birthdays, create seasonal home decor, make jewelry, paint pottery, etc. It's so fun to share my creations with my friends and family!

Personal Time:

I enjoy taking dance classes, getting cozy with a good book, baking, spending time with friends, and traveling to see my family.

You May Not Know:

I held the title of Miss Dance of North Carolina! This experience was a pivotal moment in my life and dance career. It taught me confidence, poise, professionalism, perseverance, and most importantly, connected me to so many lifelong friends!

Favorite Exercise Other Than Dancing:

I enjoy going on long walks (preferably by the water), doing HIIT workouts, Pilates, and acrobatics. These exercises are my favorite way to clear my mind, recharge, and make me a stronger dancer.
