Community Involvement:

During my undergraduate experience, I became extremely passionate about gender- and power-based violence prevention. I completed the certification process to become a New York State Department of Health Rape Crisis Counselor, working with Columbia Sexual Violence Response as a peer educator, hosting prevention trainings and outreach events. Last year, I joined the NYC Alliance Against Sexual Assault as a Changemaker Fellow on their Policy Committee, also leading educational workshops to teach students and community members about bystander intervention. As an aspiring lawyer, I gained valuable insight into the landscape of sexual violence legislation and even advocated at the state capital for increased response resources.

Personal Time: There's nothing more special to me than spending quality time with my friends and family. We are usually trying a new restaurant, sharing some comfort food, or talking about our next bite.

You May Not Know:

From a young age, history fascinated me. Growing up, I would often choose to watch documentaries over superhero or sci-fi films. Since high school, I've worked for four different Holocaust museums and education centers and even presented an exhibit at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History.

Favorite exercise other than dancing:

Although I spend more time watching than playing, I'm a huge tennis fan. I used to be a ball kid at a major tennis tournament!
