Per Eagles Insider Dave Spadaro on the Eagles' preseason broadcast, running back Ja'Quinden Jackson has strength and movement in all extremities. He is being taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
1st Quarter
Kickoff (15:00)
- We are officially underway in Foxborough with a kickoff by Jake Elliott. Lan Larison returns to NE 30 and is tackled by Eagles running back Ja'Quinden Jackson. (Eagles 0 - Patriots 0).
- The game is paused after an injury to Jackson who is taken off the field.
2nd-and-20 at NE 20 (14:33)
- Tommy DeVito completes a screen pass to Lan Larison who runs up the right sideline and is forced out after a 28 yard gain to the NE 48.
4th-and-8 at the 50 (12:53)
- After the Eagles defense stops the Patriots at midfield, Britain Covey muffs the punt by Bryce Baringer but recovers at PHI 22.
4th-and-5 at PHI 45 (11:19)
- After an 18 yard run by Will Shipley, Andy Dalton throws back-to-back incompletions to Darius Cooper and Eli Stowers on the next series. Braden Mann punts out-of-bounds to NE 16.
3rd-and-2 at NE 34 (8:32)
- Tommy DeVito converts on third down with a 7-yard scramble after being forced out of the pocket on a blitz by Sael Mondon Jr.
2nd-and-10 at NE 41 (7:07)
- SACK! Jeremiah Trotter breaks through the line of scrimmage immediately, taking down Tommy DeVito for a 4-yard loss.
4th-and-14 at NE 37 (6:24)
- After catching Bryce Barringer's punt at the two yard line, Britain Covey finds space down the left sideline for 21 yards. The Eagles offense starts at the PHI 23. Forced out by Lan Larison and long snapper Julian Ashby.
2nd-and-7 at PHI 36 (5:35)
- Andy Dalton finds Darius Cooper on a crossing route who breaks contact for a 25-yard gain. Finally taken down by Kindle Victor.
4th-and-1 at NE 40 (3:05)
- Conversion! Andy Dalton finds Darius Cooper open for his third catch of the game on an in-breaking route for 13 yards before being tackled by K.J. Britt.
Second Quarter
2nd-and-goal at NE 5 (14:28)
- TOUCHDOWN! After a drive dominated by Will Shipley (responsible for 32 yards in the drive, 51 in first quarter), the running back punches it in from five yards out to give the Eagles the lead.
Kickoff at PHI 35
- After missing most of Training Camp with a hamstring injury, Eagles rookie safety Cole Wisniewski gets his first tackle of the preseason on special teams, tackling Hassan Haskins in open space at NE 27.
1st-and-10 at NE
- After play action, Tommy DeVito escapes the pocket for a 36 yard scramble, forced out of bounds by Cole Wisniewski at PHI 27.
It's Eagles at Patriots as the defending AFC Champions host the reigning NFC East titleists in an exhibition clash. There's a lot of history between these two teams. Who will help their stock for a roster spot with cutdown day fast approaching?
