On the eve of the Eagles' second preseason game, the team announced several roster moves.
Signed C Zeke Correll
Correll has ties to Eagles Offensive Line Coach Chris Kuper, as the center was signed by the Minnesota Vikings as a rookie free agent following the 2025 NFL Draft. Kuper was the Vikings' offensive line coach last season. Correll spent his rookie season on Injured Reserve after suffering an ankle injury in the Vikings' preseason opener.
At 6-foot-3, 307 pounds, Correll started his college career at Notre Dame, eventually cracking the starting lineup in 2022. Following the 2023 campaign, Correll transferred to NC State, where he started all 13 games at center and earned All-ACC third-team honors.

Signed WR Brandon Hayes
Hayes returns for a third stint since originally signing with the Eagles in May following a tryout during the team's Rookie Camp.
A product of Southeastern Louisiana, Hayes was a first-team All-Southland Conference selection for the second straight season as a kick returner. The Hattiesburg, Mississippi native was one of only five FCS players to return multiple kickoffs for touchdowns this past season, doing so in consecutive games. Hayes' 30.7-yard kickoff return average was the third best in all of the FCS.
Hayes also contributed 227 receiving yards, 107 rushing yards, and a pair of receiving touchdowns in 2025. He averaged 26.7 yards per kickoff return and scored four total touchdowns, including one on a kickoff return, in 2024.
A Southland Conference All-Academic Team selection, Hayes earned his MBA from Southeastern Louisiana last fall.
Placed CB Tariq Castro-Fields on Injured Reserve
Castro-Fields, a Penn State product, joined the Eagles' practice squad in the middle of the 2024 season and was part of the Super Bowl LIX Championship Team.
A long corner at 6-foot-1, 197 pounds, Castro-Fields spent time on the Eagles' practice squad again last season and was looking to break into the rotation for a roster spot in 2026. A former sixth-round pick of the 49ers, Castro-Fields has played in 12 career regular-season games with Washington and Carolina. Castro-Fields was sidelined with a heel injury.
Waived WR Johnny Wilson with an injury designation
Sidelined with a knee injury, the former sixth-round pick out of Florida State was looking to return to the field after missing all of the 2025 campaign with knee and ankle injuries.
The 6-foot-6 Wilson played in 16 games as a rookie in 2024, catching five passes for 38 yards and a touchdown.
