Toyota Player Of The Week Nominees: Buccaneers

It has been nine months since the Eagles last tasted defeat, but that was unfortunately the case Sunday when they fell to the Buccaneers, 27-21, at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.

The game looked like it was going to get away from the Eagles early in the second half when the Bucs held a 27-7 lead, but some key individual performances helped the Eagles make it a one-score game late in the fourth quarter.

Here are this week's nominees for the Toyota Player of the Week:

DT Fletcher Cox

For the second week in a row, Fletcher Cox dominated the line of scrimmage. Although the Buccaneers produced big plays down the field, that did not stop Cox from racking up five total tackles and a sack.

WR Nelson Agholor

The Tampa native had a great showing in his homecoming, catching eight passes for 88 yards and a touchdown with 3:50 remaining to draw the Eagles within six points.

RB Corey Clement

Clement's versatility was on full display Sunday.

He scored the team's first touchdown during the second quarter, caught five passes for 55 yards, and assumed return duties in place of the injured Darren Sproles.
