Vikings head coach Brad Childress, who coached in Philadelphia under Andy Reid for seven seasons, including four as the team's offensive coordinator, was pleased to hear that Reid signed a contract extension on Wednesday. And he made sure to point out that his admiration for Reid extends far beyond what Reid has done on the football field.
"As he used to say when I was there, and I'm sure he still says it, it's hard for me to believe that anybody's done it better in the National Football League for the period of time he has been there in terms of wins, division titles and playoff wins," said Childress. "I'm happy for him and the organization."
