The Philadelphia Eagles are committed to reducing barriers to entry to the game of football, especially for girls! In 2022 the Eagles launched a Girls Flag Football league with 16 teams. In 2025, high school girls flag football is now a state-sanctioned sport in Pennsylvania. The initiative has expanded to include 93 teams from PA and another 38 from South Jersey.

The Eagles Youth Football Academy will be will be hosting in-person football clinics with Philadelphia Eagles Players & Legends, training workouts with Eagles Youth Football Academy staff, and more!

NFL Flag is the league's first national flag football program for boys and girls. NFL Flag was created to help kids become part of a well-organized national program emphasizing football education, participation, and sportsmanship. NFL Flag provides a new and exciting recreational opportunity, and offers the chance for increased revenue for existing programs.

LPF redistributes equipment to expand access and equity within youth sports and recreation programs in under-resourced communities.

This year, our Eagles High School Coach of the Week program will include 8 High School football coaches from throughout the Philadelphia area who exemplify what it means to be a candidate of the Don Shula High School Coach of the year.

Coaches will have the opportunity to be nominated by their athletic directors and later selected by internal Eagles selection committee. Each Coach who is selected will receive grant dollars back to their respective football program and have a chance to become the 2025 Eagles High School Coach of the Year and be nominated as the Eagles nominee for the 2025 Don Shula Coach of the Year.

Play Football is a year-round initiative celebrating youth and high school football. Play Football works to shape the football experience, advocate for safety, promote football values and connect football communities.

The Philadelphia Eagles have partnered with Good Sports to provide football equipment to youth programs in an effort to increase the capacities of inner city youth football programs to serve more youth.

Good Sports is a non-profit whose mission is to increase youth participation in sports, recreation and fitness activities. Good Sports provides sports equipment, apparel and footwear to youth organizations offering sports, fitness and recreational programs to youth in need.

The National Football League Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of those touched by the game of football. The NFL Foundation - in conjunction with the 32 NFL Clubs - supports the health, safety and wellness of athletes across all levels, including youth football and the communities that support our game.

Positive Coaching alliance aims to Be a catalyst for a positive youth sports culture in all communities across the U.S. Positive Coaching Alliance provides research-based training and resources for coaches, parents, athletes, and leaders to ensure a positive youth development experience for ALL kids, in all communities across the U.S., through sports.
