Lindsay Hartig, a U.S. Army Veteran, graduated from West Point in 2006 and commissioned into the Military Intelligence Corps, serving 15 months in Iraq and achieving the rank of Captain. Over ten years of service, she held leadership roles at Fort Stewart, Georgia, and Fort Polk, Louisiana.
Following her military career, Lindsay continued serving others through her work with Team Red, White & Blue and as a Senior Advisor for family readiness groups across several states. She is now based in New Jersey, where her husband serves as a Battalion Commander at Joint Base McGuire–Dix–Lakehurst.
Her military honors include the Bronze Star Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and several campaign and service ribbons. Lindsay is most proud of her continued dedication to military families and her role as a mother to three children: Alison, Joshua, and William.
Dietz & Watson and the Philadelphia Eagles are joining forces to honor our Military Heroes at every Eagles home game. Past nominations will be used to select a hero for each week during the 2024 season to attend an Eagles home game, enjoy pre-game sideline passes, and be featured during the Eagles game.
With the support of individuals and organizations from around the country, we are able to purchase high quality sneakers at a discounted price and send them to US service members deployed in Designated Combat Zones and Imminent Danger Areas such as Iraq, Syria, Somalia, Niger, Kenya, Lebanon, Jordon, and Yemen.
The uniqueness of the program is that we have devised a way for each soldier to choose a sturdy athletic shoe that best fits their feet…because all feet are different.
