The Eagles and Philadelphia Insurance are proud to highlight the work of charitable organizations within the community through the Community RedZone program. Throughout the season, three organizations will be highlighted at each Eagles home game and given the opportunity to help spread awareness to Eagles fans of the work they’re doing in the Greater Philadelphia area to help make a difference.

Bethesda Project

Bethesda Project began in 1979 when Reverend Domenic Rossi and members of his prayer group from Daylesford Abbey in Paoli, Pennsylvania, reached out to a group of women experiencing homelessness in Center City, Philadelphia. Now, more than 30 years later, Bethesda Project remains committed to finding and caring for the abandoned poor and to be family with those who have none. Bethesda Project serves 2,000 homeless and formerly homeless men and women each year at 14 sites throughout Philadelphia.

United Way Delaware

Founded in 1946, United Way of Delaware (UWDE) works to advance the common good by focusing on the three strategic areas: Early Education, College and Career Readiness, and Financial Stability. UWDE is engaged in long-term programs designed to eliminate the root causes of Delaware’s most pressing social problems in New Castle, Kent, and Sussex counties. UWDE works collectively with business, government, social service agencies, academic groups, community organizations and concerned individuals to establish positive, long-lasting solutions for today and into the future.

Gaudenzia

Serving about 17,500 individuals annually, Gaudenzia operates 169 drug and alcohol treatment programs at 101 facilities for men and women in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington, D.C. Services include specialized programs for pregnant and parenting mothers, adolescents, and people suffering from co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse.

Gaudenzia continues to improve and expand their services, helping individuals, families, and communities overcome the ravages of addiction.

MANNA is a leader in evidence-based nutrition services, bringing together dietitians, chefs, drivers, and thousands of volunteers to cook and deliver nutritious, medically appropriate meals and provide nutrition counseling to neighbors who are battling life-threatening illnesses such as cancer, renal disease, and HIV/AIDS. From hands-on cooking classes and nutrition counseling to the delivery of 3 meals a day, 7 days a week, MANNA provides nourishment, hope, and healing to the Greater Philadelphia area, Southern New Jersey, and beyond.

The Epilepsy Foundation of Eastern PA is leading the fight to end epilepsy and overcome challenges created by seizures by focusing on education, support and advocacy. We offer a range of free services and programs to improve the quality of life and empower those who are affected by epilepsy and their caregivers. We also support research to accelerate cures for the epilepsies, support the training and work of new pediatric neurology/epilepsy specialists, and seek to educate the general public to better understand epilepsy/seizure disorders.

HugWraps

HugWraps was created by cancer survivor Brenda Jones during her first day of radiation treatment. After being told she would have to wear the same style hospital gowns for the next seven weeks Jones purchased the most bright, cheerful flannel fabric she could find and made a pattern to allow for drains, coverage and front opening and designed it for dignity. Brenda still does all the sewing herself and hopes to one day provide HugWraps for cancer patients at no cost.
