Are The Eagles OK At Cornerback?
The trade of Sheldon Brown to Cleveland gives Ellis Hobbs an opportunity to step up and become a starter in this defense. He is recovered from a neck injury suffered last year and he is eager to prove himself. The NFC East has a lot of tall, physical receivers and the Eagles must prove they can match up with that kind of size.
Look for Joselio Hanson, rookie Trevard Lindley, Dimitri Patterson and others to challenge here. The Eagles want as competitive a situation as possible opposite Asante Samuel. This is a position to watch as camp heats up in August.
