The Eagles have opened the practice window for long snapper Charley Hughlett. The Eagles have an open roster spot after waiving long snapper Cal Adomitis on Tuesday.
Hughlett was placed on Injured Reserve after Philadelphia's Week 4 victory over the Buccaneers. He was signed by the Eagles in free agency after 10 seasons with the Cleveland Browns.
With Hughlett as the long snapper, kicker Jake Elliott was perfect on the season, connecting on all of his PAT (12/12) and field goal attempts (4/4). Braden Mann, the holder for Elliott's kicks, was the league's top punter in terms of gross average (52.9 yards per punt) with Hughlett as the long snapper. — Written by Matt Ryan
