Tim Jernigan And Jordan Hicks Back In Practice

Two players who missed last week's game at the Rams participated in the walkthrough Wednesday ahead of Sunday's critical game against the Texans.

Defensive tackle Tim Jernigan, who has missed three consecutive games with a back injury, was limited in practice. Linebacker Jordan Hicks, who has missed four straight games with a calf injury, was also limited. It should be noted that the full injury report was an estimation based on this afternoon's walkthrough, since the team did not have a full practice.

Linebacker D.J. Alexander (hamstring), defensive tackle Fletcher Cox (hip), tight end Zach Ertz (ankle), and punter Cameron Johnston (back) were also limited. Guard Stefen Wisniewski (thumb) was a full participant.

Quarterback Carson Wentz missed practice with a back injury and is expected to be out again for the full week. Defensive end Michael Bennett missed practice with an ongoing foot injury suffered Week 12 against the Giants. He remains on track to play Sunday.

Cornerback Sidney Jones was out with a hamstring injury that kept him sidelined last week and offensive lineman Isaac Seumalo did not participate with a pectoral injury. Wide receiver Alshon Jeffery sat out with an illness.

For the Texans, every active player practiced in some capacity. Defensive end J.J. Watt (knee), running back Lamar Miller (ankle), wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (ankle), and cornerback Kareem Jackson (knee) were all limited in Wednesday's practice.
