The Eagles announced a series of gameday roster moves on Monday afternoon ahead of the 8:15 PM kickoff against the Dallas Cowboys.
The team has activated tight end Grant Calcaterra, guard Landon Dickerson, and tight end Eli Stowers from Injured Reserve. The team also elevated outside linebacker Keyshawn James-Newby and running back Elijah Mitchell from the practice squad for Monday night's game. Lastly, cornerback Jakorian Bennett was downgraded by the team to out, since he remains on Injured Reserve.
Activate TE Grant Calcaterra
Placed on Injured Reserve at the start of the season due to a back injury, the fifth-year veteran is eligible to make his season debut Monday night.
A former sixth-round draft pick of the Eagles in 2022, Calcaterra has 42 catches for 494 yards and two touchdowns in 62 career regular-season games (22 starts).
Activate G Landon Dickerson
The Eagles welcome back one of the best guards in football in the three-time Pro Bowl selection to the active roster.
Dickerson started at left guard in the season opener and then went on Injured Reserve with a knee injury. Dickerson's experience will aid center Drew Kendall, who took over the starting job during Dickerson's stint on Injured Reserve.
Activate TE Eli Stowers
The rookie second-round pick landed on Injured Reserve just before the season opener with a quadriceps injury. Eli Stowers is eligible to make his NFL debut in prime time. Stowers was the Mackey Award winner, given to the nation's best tight end in 2025, after posting 62 receptions for 769 yards and four touchdowns last season at Vanderbilt.
Elevate OLB Keyshawn James-Newby
The rookie outside linebacker battled injury for most of Training Camp, but flashed in the preseason finale to earn a spot on the practice squad. Elevated last Sunday against the Panthers, Keyshawn James-Newby played 48 defensive snaps in his NFL debut, posting a tackle.
Elevate RB Elijah Mitchell
A sixth-round draft pick by the 49ers in 2021, Elijah Mitchell accumulated 1,523 yards and 9 touchdowns on the ground through 27 games for San Francisco. The former first-team All-Sun Belt running back only saw action in one game for the Chiefs in 2025 before signing with the Patriots' practice squad. He was with the Eagles during Training Camp this year, but was released in August. He rejoined the team through the practice squad on Tuesday. Monday night marks his Eagles regular-season debut.
