The Eagles announced on Tuesday that the team has waived cornerback Jakorian Bennett from the Injured Reserve list. Wide receiver Quentin Skinner has also been released from the practice squad after joining the team last week.

CB Jakorian Bennett

The Eagles acquired Bennett ahead of the 2025 season via a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders. The 2023 fourth-round pick out of Maryland dealt with a pectoral injury in 2025, recording seven tackles through 11 games in his first year as an Eagle.

Bennett was placed on Injured Reserve on August 30th after dealing with a knee injury during Training Camp. The team opened his 21-day practice window ahead of Week 6. Despite returning to practice, the cornerback was not activated from Injured Reserve for any of the past three games.

WR Quentin Skinner

Skinner started his NFL career in 2025 by signing with the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent. The former Kansas Jayhawk was then signed to the Jets' active roster late in the year after spending most of his rookie season on the practice squad. He made one catch for 10 yards in Week 18 against the Bills, as well as a diving catch for a two-point conversion from Brady Cook in that same game. He was waived in August as part of the Jets' final roster cuts before signing to the Eagles' practice squad last week.

The 6-foot-4 receiver totaled 1,584 yards and 11 touchdowns on 80 receptions through four seasons at Kansas (five including a redshirt year). Skinner played a major role in the Jayhawks' offense in 2023, helping the team win the Guaranteed Rate Bowl against UNLV – the university's first bowl game win in over 10 years.

History in the present. The Kelly Green jerseys make their season debut against the Giants on November 8th.
