The Eagles are in Nashville ahead of Sunday afternoon's clash with the Tennessee Titans. On Saturday, the team announced that it has elevated rookie safety Maximus Pulley from the practice squad for the game.
Pulley (5-foot-11, 200 pounds) was signed by the Eagles as a rookie free agent out of Wofford following the 2026 NFL Draft. He was third on the team with 16 total tackles in the preseason and led the way with three more solo tackles on special teams.
Following the roster cutdown, the Eagles signed Pulley to the practice squad. He is in position to make his NFL debut against the Titans. Pulley provides insurance at both safety and special teams with starter Andrew Mukuba questionable with a knee injury.
Pulley began his college career at Western Kentucky before spending three years at Wofford. As a senior, he was named an FCS All-American after having 85 tackles, 10 passes defended, and five interceptions (which led the conference). He returned two of those interceptions for touchdowns (tied for most in the country). Pulley was a finalist for the Buck Buchanan Award, given to the best defensive player in the FCS.
