Eagles at Titans Injury Report

All-Pros Jalen Carter and Cooper DeJean missed practice on Wednesday.

All five players on the injury report for the Eagles and the Titans on Wednesday were key players on the defensive side of the ball.

The Eagles were without two of their All-Pros on defense in practice on Wednesday in defensive tackle Jalen Carter (wrist) and defensive back Cooper DeJean (calf/abdomen). Neither player was on the injury report last week prior to the Commanders game.

"I'm good. I'll be alright," DeJean said after practice. He confirmed that he suffered the injuries while making a tackle on Commanders wide receiver Stefon Diggs in the second quarter.

Outside linebacker Jonathan Greenard missed the season-opening win over the Commanders with a pectoral injury that sidelined him for all of Training Camp. Greenard was a limited participant in practice before the Commanders game and that remained the same on Wednesday.

Wednesday marked the first practice since the team placed Pro Bowl guard Landon Dickerson on Injured Reserve. Nick Sirianni was asked specifically on Wednesday about second-year offensive lineman Drew Kendall, who is a contender to step into the starting lineup in Dickerson's absence, but the head coach praised the depth and confidence in the players across the board to fill in.

"I was really pleased with Drew's preseason. I was really pleased with Willie Lampkin's preseason. Markel (Bell), Fred (Johnson), Micah (Morris), all those guys have the ability to be able to do some things there. We have flexibility with how we need to rotate around and where we need to be. Excited about the depth that we have there," Sirianni said. "Like I said to Landon, there haven't been many games that I've been the head coach here that he wasn't playing football for us. Obviously, going to miss him like crazy, but really excited about that room and the depth of that room and where we are there."

Titans hope to get starting LB back

There are only two Titans on the injury report to start the week, but one of them is trending in a positive manner to make his season debut against the Eagles.

Linebacker Cedric Gray was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. He did not practice ahead of the Week 1 matchup against the Jets due to a concussion. Gray was the Titans' leader in tackles last season.

Still, Head Coach Robert Saleh told reporters on Wednesday that Gray has yet to clear concussion protocol.

With Gray out in Week 1 against the Jets, rookie Anthony Hill Jr. led the team with 16 tackles in his NFL debut.

Fellow linebacker James Williams Sr. was a limited participant with an elbow injury. He had one tackle in 28 snaps in Sunday's season opener.

Gray was one of seven inactive players in Week 1, along with tackle Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson, cornerback Jaylon Jones, guard Atonio Mafi, defensive tackle Jackie Marshall, linebacker Owen Pappoe, and running back Nick Singleton.
