Eagles, Barkley Agree To Terms

The Philadelphia Eagles today announced they have agreed to terms with QB Matt Barkley on a four-year contract. Barkley will become the seventh of eight Eagles 2013 draft choices to sign with the team.

Barkley was the Eagles' fourth-round selection in the 2013 NFL Draft (98th overall). The 22-year-old was the all-time leading passer in both Pac-12 Conference and USC history. A four-year starter for the Trojans, Barkley finished his career with over 12,000 passing yards and became the only player in conference history to throw for over 100 touchdowns (116) in a career.

A native of Santa Ana, Calif., Barkley attended Mater Dei High School where he finished his career as the all-time passing yardage leader in Orange County.
