The Eagles will have 7 players inactive for tonight's home opener against Minnesota.

S Reed Blankenship: Dealing with a rib injury, the starting safety will be inactive.

CB James Bradberry: The Eagles will be without one of their starting cornerbacks as Bradberry did not clear concussion protocol in time to play.

RB Kenneth Gainwell: Also dealing with a rib injury, Gainwell will not dress after leading the team in carries during Week 1.

QB Tanner McKee (3rd QB): The rookie will serve as the team's emergency quarterback and can only play if Jalen Hurts and Marcus Mariota get injured.

OL Tyler Steen: The third-round draft pick is the only offensive lineman inactive.

DT Moro Ojomo: The rookie will sit for a second consecutive game.

TE Albert Okwuegbunam: With three tight ends dressed for the game, Okwuegbunam will sit.

With three starters out due to injury, the Eagles will rely on their depth for tonight's game against the Vikings.

Cornerbacks Mario Goodrich and Eli Ricks, who were inactive last week, will make their debuts tonight. Linebacker Nicholas Morrow was signed to the active roster earlier this week after linebacker Nakobe Dean was placed on injured reserve. Morrow will make his Eagles debut tonight.

Britain Covey and Arryn Siposs have been elevated from the practice squad for the second straight game. Both will play integral roles on special teams.

The Vikings have five players inactive for Thursday Night Football. The visitors will be without their starting center Garrett Bradbury and quarterback Jaren Hall will serve as the emergency third QB.

Christian Darrisaw and Marcus Davenport, who were questionable throughout the week, will play. - Written by Owen Boyle
