Both players have been previously elevated from the practice squad this season.

Kelly Green Roster Moves

The Eagles announced on Saturday that they have elevated running back Elijah Mitchell and safety Cole Wisniewski for Sunday's NFC East matchup against the New York Giants.

RB Elijah Mitchell

For the third game in a row, the Eagles elevated running back Elijah Mitchell from the practice squad.

The 5-foot-10, 220-pound back has 45 rushing yards and 26 rushing yards in 21 total touches (53) in the past two games. Mitchell is coming off a game in which he had 11 carries for 34 yards.

With Saquon Barkley managing hamstring and back injuries, Mitchell provides depth as the third running back on the gameday roster along with Jaydon Blue.

In 30 career NFL regular-season games over six seasons, Mitchell has 1,568 rushing yards (4.6 yards per carry) and 10 total touchdowns.

S Cole Wisniewski

The 6-3, 219-pound rookie safety made his NFL debut in the Week 6 game against Carolina, when he made a special teams tackle. A seventh-round pick out of Texas Tech, Wisniewski also played at North Dakota State. In 61 career college games (33 starts), Wisniewski had 294 tackles, 20 passes defensed, 11.5 tackles for loss, eight interceptions, and five forced fumbles.
