Eagles Waive Harris; Roster At 79

The Eagles released 10 players Saturday and cornerback Cliff Harris on Sunday to trim the roster to 79 players. They must release four more players before Monday's 4 PM deadline, at which time the roster can have no more than 75 players.

By next Friday at 9 PM, the Eagles will have to slim the roster down to reach the final 53-man limit.

Here is a look at the 11 players that the Eagles released thus far:

S Wade Bonner College teammate of Fletcher Cox who made Training Camp roster after tryout.
DE Xavier Brown Former Arena League standout added during Training Camp.
CB Cliff Harris Former All-America who picked off pass Friday night. Surprise to see among early cuts.
WR Brian Hernandez Former UFL player who was added during pre-season. Also was in Redskins' camp.
WR McKay Jacobson Signed by team as rookie free agent. Too much WR depth on roster.
WR Tiger Jones Added after stellar season with AFL's Philadelphia Soul. Got his opportunity to play in NFL.
G Alfred McCullough Rookie free agent who was part of Alabama's BCS National Championship team last year.
S Tom Nelson Was making push for roster spot until he suffered ankle injury against Patriots.
CB Kevin Thomas Acquired in trade with Colts during Training Camp. Tall-framed CB couldn't make impact.
OT Thomas Welch Claimed off waivers earlier in offseason, got to play second-team RT on Friday night.
