The Eagles made multiple roster moves less than a week from their season opener against the Dallas Cowboys.
Philadelphia signed running back Audric Estime and defensive back Ambry Thomas to the practice squad. To make room for them, the Eagles released cornerback Eli Ricks and wide receiver Terrace Marshall.
The Eagles also placed guard/center Willie Lampkin on Injured Reserve. Philadelphia claimed Lampkin on Wednesday after he was released by the Los Angeles Rams.
Estime was a fifth-round pick by the Denver Broncos in 2024 and played in 13 games, rushing for 310 yards and two touchdowns on 76 carries. In his lone start last season against the Los Angeles Chargers, the 5-foot-11, 227-pound Estime ran for 48 yards and a touchdown on nine attempts.
Thomas was a third-round selection in 2021 by the San Francisco 49ers. Through three NFL seasons he has appeared in 42 games with 11 starts. In his career, Thomas has 79 tackles, 12 passes defended, and two interceptions.
Ricks made the Eagles roster as an undrafted free agent in 2023 and played in 23 games over the last two years. The Eagles signed Marshall earlier in the offseason.
