On the eve of the cutdown to the 53-player limit, the Eagles made the following roster moves:

Signed CB Isaiah Rodgers, placed him on the Reserve/Suspended list

The Eagles signed free agent cornerback and kick returner Isaiah Rodgers and placed him on the Reserve/Suspended list. The NFL suspended Rodgers for violating the league's gambling policy in June and he was subsequently released by the Colts.

The 5-10, 176-pound Rodgers was a sixth-round pick of the Colts out of Massachusetts in 2020. In 45 games (10 starts), Rodgers has 88 tackles, 10 passes defensed, and three interceptions. He also became just the sixth rookie in Colts history to return a kickoff for a touchdown, earning PFWA All-Rookie honors at the end of that inaugural campaign. Rodgers has averaged 27.0 yards per kickoff return in his career.

Waived DT Noah Elliss with an injury settlement

Defensive tackle Noah Elliss spent Training Camp with the team and was placed on Injured Reserve following the preseason game against the Browns. The 6-foot-4, 346-pound Elliss, who is the brother of Eagles linebacker Christian, was originally signed by the Eagles as a rookie free agent in 2022 out of Idaho and spent the entirety of his first season on the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list.
