The Eagles and Tennessee Titans have agreed to a trade that will send running back DeMarco Murray and a 2016 fourth-round pick to Tennessee in exchange for a 2016 fourth-round pick.

Murray signed a five-year deal with the Eagles during the 2015 offseason, following a year in which he won the NFL's rushing title with 1,845 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns. He also earned NFL Offensive Player of the Year honors for his play in Dallas during 2014.

Unfortunately, that production did not carry over into 2015 as Murray (6-0, 217) picked up only 702 yards on the ground (3.6 yards per carry) and 955 total yards for the Eagles in 15 games. Over the course of the season, the running back scored six rushing touchdowns.

Originally a 2011 third-round pick (71st overall) of the Cowboys, Murray has accumulated 5,228 rushing yards during his five seasons in the NFL and has 21 100-yard rushing games to his name. He set Dallas' single-season rushing record in 2014 and rushed for 253 yards against St. Louis during his rookie season, setting another Cowboys' franchise record.
