WR Manningham Out For Giants

In an anticipated move, the Giants announced on Saturday that wide receiver Mario Manningham is out for this game against the Eagles. Manningham suffered a concussion during Monday night's win over St. Louis and did not practice all week.

Manningham has 7 catches for 105 yards in two games for the Giants starting opposite Hakeem Nicks. Without Manningham, the Giants will turn to second-year man Victor Cruz, rookie Jerrel Jernigan and veteran Brandon Stokely to fill the void. Another pair of veterans, Devin Thomas and newly signed Michael Clayton, could see significant playing time.

New York lost wide receiver Domenik Hixon in Monday's win over the Rams with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
