The Eagles opened the practice window for defensive back Jakorian Bennett, tight end Grant Calcaterra, guard Landon Dickerson, and tight end Eli Stowers on Wednesday.

DB Jakorian Bennett

The Eagles acquired Bennett ahead of the 2025 season via a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders. The 2023 fourth-round pick out of Maryland dealt with a pectoral injury in 2025, recorded seven tackles through 11 games in his first year as an Eagle.

Bennett was placed on Injured Reserve on August 30th after dealing with a knee injury during Training Camp. The 5-foot-11 defensive back recently changed his jersey number from 23 to 21.

TE Grant Calcaterra

Calcaterra is in his fifth year as an Eagle, having been drafted by the franchise in 2022. He was placed on Injured Reserve on August 30th with a back injury. A member of the 2022 NFC Champion and the Super Bowl LIX Champion squads, the 6-foot-4, 240-pound Calcaterra has 42 receptions for 494 yards and two touchdowns over 62 regular-season games (22 starts).

Since joining Philadelphia, the former SMU Mustang has served as the second or third tight end option behind Dallas Goedert. Frequently used in two-TE sets, Calcaterra took part in 36 percent of the offensive snaps last season.

G Landon Dickerson

Dickerson was placed on Injured Reserve with a knee injury following the Eagles' win over the Commanders in Week 1. The Super Bowl LIX champion is in his sixth year with the Eagles since being selected in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft. During Dickerson's absence, the offensive line has seen many changes, including the loss of tackle Lane Johnson to retirement and center Cam Jurgens to a trade.

The 2020 CFP National Champion has been just as impactful with the Eagles as he was at Alabama. Dickerson has been named to three Pro Bowls, tied with Brandon Brooks (2016-21) for the most Pro Bowl selections by an Eagles guard.

TE Eli Stowers

The Eagles used their second-round pick of the 2026 NFL Draft to bring in Stowers from Vanderbilt. However, the uber-athletic receiving weapon was placed on Injured Reserve with a quadriceps injury a day before his potential debut for the team, ahead of Week 1's matchup against the Commanders. The rookie nursed a hamstring injury during Training Camp.

Stowers spent his first two years of college football at Texas A&M as a quarterback, but transferred to New Mexico State in 2023. The Texas native quickly became one of the best tight ends in college football when he moved to Vanderbilt in 2024, being coached by former Eagle Jordan Mathews.

In his two seasons in Nashville, Stowers accumulated more than 1,400 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. Stowers was awarded the John Mackey Award (given to college football's best tight end), the William V. Campbell Trophy (often referred to as the "Academic Heisman"), and was a unanimous All-American in 2025.

The Eagles have also announced that the team has signed defensive back Dean Clark to the practice squad. - Written by Caroline Connor
