3:22 PM - Gus Johnson is here. You probably know him as CBS's NCAA basketball announcer that makes every game in the final five minutes seem twice as exciting.
3:18 PM -Final 10-10-10 sets here. The offense works on running back draws, with Correll Buckhalter and Lorenzo Booker taking the reps with the first team. Not going to lie, seeing the guys work on running plays in shorts isn't the most exciting thing they've done all week. Meanwhile, Juan Castillo coaches his linemen on the adjacent field. Juan is a lot of fun to watch.
3:02 PM -The linebackers are playing that "hot potato" game again. Stewart Bradley and Chris Gocong won the last time and to ensure that does not happen again, Akeem Jordan and Omar Gaither jump the gun and start early - cheaters never prosper. Rocky Boiman gets the win along with the linebackers coach.
2:58 PM - Still part of warm-ups, Jason Avant drops a pass, smacks his helmet and says, "Wake up J." These guys are harder on themselves then the coaches ever could be and that will only make them better.
2:50 PM - The defensive backs are taking a lot of reps on adjusting to balls in the air. Often times they spin two or three times before finally settling under a pass.
2:43 PM -One of the ball boys is a high school quarterback. Defensive coordinator Jim Johnson was a QB while in college so he offers some advice. Then Donovan McNabb comes over and tells the boy to keep his elbow high. Good advice for a young football player.
2:40 PM -After the morning practice was cancelled due to the water main break, the Eagles take the field for their regularly scheduled afternoon 10/10/10 practice. The players are in shorts and shells and the practice will only last a little over an hour. Head coach Andy Reid will speak after the workout. Tight end L.J. Smith is back on the field after being sidelined with a calf injury. Ryan Moats (ankle) and Brian Dawkins (knee) are also back out there. Brian Westbrook (viral illness) and Asante Samuel (hamstring) are among those still sidelined.
6:45 AM - Due to a water main break on the campus of Lehigh University, the morning practice has been cancelled. The afternoon practice is still scheduled to go off at 2:45 PM and will be open to the public.
6:00 AM - There will be plenty of action at Lehigh today starting at 8:15 AM. On Friday, there were multiple live hitting periods. Just think, a week from today the first preseason game will be in the books. Again, if there's a player you want to know about specifically please let us know. After the morning workout, we will hear from Andy Reid and Brian Westbrook.
