During his Saturday morning press conference, head coach Doug Pederson announced both tight end Zach Ertz (rib) and cornerback Leodis McKelvin (hamstring) will be out for Monday night's game against the Bears. The players are classified as week to week.
Ron Brooks and Jalen Mills will be the players who are most impacted by McKelvin's absence.
There is good news, however, as tight end Trey Burton (calf) has been a full participant throughout the week after missing the season opener against Cleveland. With Ertz unable to play in Week 2, Burton is expected to take on an increased role in the team's offense.
Wide receiver Bryce Treggs, who was claimed off waivers from the 49ers after the final roster cutdown, was also a full participant on Thursday and Friday with a knee injury. Treggs has yet to make his Eagles debut. He did not play against the Browns due to the injury.
Running back Kenjon Barner returned as a full participant on Friday after he did not practice Thursday for a reason that was not injury related.
Only one player was on the Bears' injury report. Starting cornerback Kyle Fuller was limited all week with a knee injury that kept him out of last week's game in Houston. He is questionable for Monday night. Every other Bear was a full participant in practice.
