Eagles vs. Jets injury report

Quarterback Jalen Hurts
Quarterback Jalen Hurts

The Eagles officially listed quarterback Jalen Hurts as questionable for Sunday's game at the New York Jets. Hurts was limited in practice all week with an ankle injury.

When asked who the starting quarterback will be on Sunday, Head Coach Nick Sirianni said on Friday, "We still got time to make that decision. Jalen is questionable, but we still have 48 – a little less than 48 hours to let the body heal, see what's going on even a little bit more. So, it's an unknown right now."

If Hurts is unable to go, Gardner Minshew will start at quarterback for the Eagles.

The Eagles ruled out running back Jordan Howard due to a knee injury. Howard did not practice all week. Running back Boston Scott also did not practice all week due to an illness, but is questionable for Sunday.

"I'm confident that if Boston is up and ready to go, he's up and ready to go," Sirianni said when asked if Scott could play despite missing the entire week of practice.

Everyone else practiced fully for the Eagles on Friday and is good to go for Sunday.

The Eagles held their first full practice of the week on Thursday after a walkthrough on Wednesday. Here is a look at the Eagles' injury report.

Did Not Participate

• DT Fletcher Cox (Rest/Back)

• RB Jordan Howard (Knee) – Head Coach Nick Sirianni said that the team will receive more information about Howard on Thursday, but that the team "is hopeful" for his availability on Sunday.

• RB Boston Scott (Illness)

• WR DeVonta Smith (Illness)

Limited Participation

• DE Derek Barnett (Ribs)

• LB T.J. Edwards (Ankle)

• QB Jalen Hurts (Ankle) – Said Sirianni, "He's tough. He's as tough as they get. Obviously, you want that out of your quarterback. So, yeah, I mean, in my mind, he's playing, right? Again, like I said, we're hopeful. I think in his and my mind, we're both saying, 'Yeah, he's going.'"

• DE Tarron Jackson (Neck)

• T Lane Johnson (Rest)

• C Jason Kelce (Rest/Knee) – Sirianni shared this story from after Sunday's game regarding Kelce.

"My text message to Jason after the game is: 'You're the toughest guy I know. We appreciate the heck out of you coming back in.' That's what you want from your leaders, a guy that's just going to do everything he can do to give of himself to his teammates, and I think that's the selflessness of Jason Kelce, the toughness of Jason Kelce," he said.

• RB Miles Sanders (Ankle) – Sirianni said that Sanders is "continuing to progress."

• DE Josh Sweat (Knee)
