Eagles vs. Bengals Injury Report

The Eagles' offense will not be at full strength again as right guard Mekhi Becton (concussion) and tight end Dallas Goedert (hamstring) will be out for Sunday's game in Cincinnati. Neither player practiced all week. Becton suffered the concussion last Sunday against the Giants and was replaced by Tyler Steen.

"It takes a lot of mental toughness to not know when your number is going to be called, but be ready," Head Coach Nick Sirianni said this week. "It speaks to Tyler and his mental toughness and his ability to prepare and prep. I admire how he played under those circumstances and he did a lot of good things to help us win that game."

Steen is in place to start for Becton, while Goedert was replaced by Grant Calcaterra and Jack Stoll in New York. Goedert was injured in the win over the Browns two weeks ago.

Everyone else on the roster is good to go for Sunday.

Linebacker Zack Baun (shoulder) missed practice on Wednesday, but he was a full participant on Thursday and Friday. Cornerback Eli Ricks (groin) was upgraded to a full participant on Friday. He was limited on Wednesday and Thursday.

Bengals' Star WR Questionable

Could the matchup between two of the best wide receiver duos in the league be in jeopardy?

Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins was added to the injury report Friday as a limited participant. He suffered a quadriceps injury and is questionable for Sunday's game. Higgins missed the first two games of the season with a hamstring injury.

Higgins has at least 75 receiving yards in each of the last three weeks, with three touchdowns in that span. Since his season debut in Week 3, Higgins is sixth in the NFL in targets (45) and tied for seventh in receptions (29).

Everyone else is good to go for the Bengals. Tackle Orland Brown (knee) was upgraded to a full participant on Friday after being limited on Wednesday and Thursday. Safety Geno Stone missed practice on Wednesday with a shin injury, but was a full participant on Friday.

The Eagles hit the practice field on Thursday with some good news, as linebacker Zack Baun (shoulder) was a full participant in the session.

Baun got the injury on a hit during Sunday's game against the Giants. "We're working towards it for sure," Baun said after today's practice.

Byron Young was the third and final non-participant of Thursday's practice, as he is out still with a hamstring injury.

Eli Ricks (groin), who missed Sunday's game after suffering the injury in practice last week, was a limited participant for the second day in a row.

Will Joe Burrow have his blindside protector on Sunday?

Quarterback Joe Burrow is on the Bengals' injury report each week with the right throwing wrist injury that prematurely ended his 2023 campaign. He has been a full participant all season and that trend continued on Wednesday.

One injury to watch for the Bengals is the status of starting left tackle Orlando Brown. The fourth-time Pro Bowl selection exited the second quarter of Sunday's win over the Browns with a right knee injury and was limited on Wednesday. Cody Ford replaced Brown in the lineup against the Browns.

Burrow has a 3-11-1 career record when he is sacked four or more times. The Eagles have a league-best 13 sacks over the past two weeks. Burrow has been pressured on just 26.5 percent of his dropbacks this season, the second-lowest pressure rate among qualified quarterbacks, according to Next Gen Stats.

Starting safety Geno Stone missed Wednesday's practice with a shin injury that he incurred against Cleveland. Defensive tackle Kris Jenkins was a full participant with a thumb injury.

Three-time Pro Bowl pass rusher Trey Hendrickson did not practice on Wednesday for personal reasons. Hendrickson is tied for fourth in the NFL with seven sacks this season. He is one of only two players with at least five sacks and 15 QB hits this season (Detroit's Aidan Hutchinson).
