The Eagles were awarded running back Keilan Robinson off waivers from the Jacksonville Jaguars on Friday. To make room for Robinson on the 90-man roster, the Eagles waived rookie wide receiver Ife Adeyi.

Robinson (5-8, 191 pounds) was a fifth-round draft pick in 2024 out of Texas, selected by the Jaguars with the 167th overall pick.

The 25-year-old saw action in the Jaguars' final six games of the season, returning two kickoff attempts.

Robinson began his college career at Alabama before transferring to Texas in 2021. In three seasons with the Longhorns, Robinson thrived as a return specialist, finishing eighth in school history in kickoff return average (24.2 yards) and ninth with 897 total kickoff return yards. He was an honorable mention All-Big 12 selection by the coaches in 2022.

At the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine, Robinson posted a 4.42 in the 40-yard dash, a 33-inch vertical, and a 10-5 in the broad jump. According to NFL Next Gen Stats, Robinson's athleticism score was seventh among all running backs at the Combine that year.

The Washington, D.C. native posted the following on X after learning of his new destination.
