• The Eagles' 2026 season is officially underway! After electing to defer Jake Elliot kicks off to the Commanders 2-yard line. Jaylin Lane returns to the WAS 36.

3rd-and-10 at WAS 47 (13:25)

• Jayden Daniels finds Stefon Diggs for the receiver's first ever catch as a Commanders for 13 yards to the PHI 40, converting for a first down.

4th-and-7 at PHI 37 (11:28)

• Field Goal Washington. Rookie kicker Drew Stevens is good from 55 yards out, giving the Commanders the first lead of the game on the opening drive (Commanders 3 - Eagles 0).

Kickoff at WAS 35

• Drew Stevens kicks for a touchback. Eagles start at PHI 35.

3rd-and-5 at PHI 40 (10:34)

• Jalen Hurts escapes the pocket left after pressure from rookie linebacker Sonny Styles, scrambles for a gain of six yards to give the Eagles a new set of downs.

4th-and-8 at PHI 48 (8:43)

• Braden Mann pins the Commanders inside their own 10 with a 46-yard out. Ball rolls out at WAS 6.

4th-and-10 at WAS 6 (7:42)

• Eagles defense forces a 3-and-out. Tress Way punts 54 yards to PHI 40, Britain Covey is stopped by Tyler Owens a yard back at the PHI 39.

1st-and-20 at PHI 30 (7:07)

• Nick Cross blows up a screen for Makai Lemon, tackling the rookie receiver for a loss of five.

3rd-and-12 at PHI 36 (5:41)

• Jalen Hurts is sacked on a blitz by Frankie Luvu for a 9-yard loss.

4th-and-21 at PHI (5:08)

• Jaylin Lane returns Braden Mann's 64 yard punt to WAS 22. Tackled by Darius Cooper.

3rd-and-1 at WAS 31 (3:30)

• Rashad White is stopped at the line of scrimmage by Jalen Carter, forcing a punt.

4th-and-1 at WAS 31 (2:48)

• Britain Covey returns Tress Way's punt 14 yards to the PHI 24.

2nd-and-4 at PHI 30 (1:57)

• Deep pass downfield is complete! Jalen Hurts launches the ball deep downfield to Dontayvion Wicks near the right sideline who is brought down at the WAS 6 for his first catch as an Eagle - a 64 yard gain.

1st-and-goal at WAS 16 (0:39)

• After a holding penalty on Cam Jurgens, Javon Kinlaw gets in the backfield, tackling Saquon Barkley for a loss of two.

Second Quarter

3rd-and-goal at WAS 17 (14:17)

• TOUCHDOWN EAGLES! Jalen Hurts fires to the back of the end zone to Dallas Goedert who brings it in over to Washington defenders. Jake Elliott's extra point is good. (Eagles 7 - Commanders 3).

Kickoff at PHI 35 (14:11)

• Jake Elliott kicks deep to Rashad White who returns 29 yards to the WAS 32.

4th-and-9 at WAS 33 (13:07)

• The Eagles defense holds Washington to another 3-and-out. Tress Way punts to the PHI 16 to Britain Covey who runs out of bounds by Jordan Magee at the PHI 27 for an 11-yard return.

4th-and-6 at PHI 31 (12:09)

• After two incompletions following a 4-yard run by Saquon Barkley, Braden Mann punts 62 yards to the WAS 7. Darius Cooper gets another special teams tackle, bringing down Jaylin Lane at the WAS 16.
