The x-rays on cornerback Sheldon Brown's ribs were negative on Saturday evening, and he is now listed as day to day with the injury. Brown was in coverage against Kevin Curtis in the back of the end zone during Saturday's practice and landed in a heap with Curtis. Brown stayed down for a few minutes while the athletic training department attended to him.
Brown then got up and jogged into the NovaCare Complex locker room to get treatment. The good news is that Brown's injury is minor and should not keep him out of action too long.
