Friday marks National Gun Violence Awareness Day. The team will wear and auction orange-themed practice shirts to benefit two Philadelphia-based organizations – Frontline Dads and Mothers In Charge.

The Philadelphia Eagles are launching a targeted, multilayered anti-gun violence campaign in conjunction with area-based nonprofits and the City of Philadelphia.

The nonprofit mentors men between the ages of 18-35 who are the most likely people to be victims or perpetrators of gun violence.

The Eagles' A Fan of Change campaign is designed to highlight the dedication of community members and our players who are channeling their energy to inspire change in our region. While we acknowledge that there is much work still ahead of us, this year's campaign shines a spotlight on volunteers at several nonprofits in our region and those that they are serving and highlights the benefits for everyone involved in that service.
