The Eagles displayed new art inside the NovaCare Complex featuring four inspirational quotes on images of four iconic players ...

As players and staff members head down the halls of the NovaCare Complex and make their way to the practice fields, in the rotunda outside of the auditorium where team meetings are held, there are four images of Eagles alumni. Each image is also accompanied by a famous quote that is important to the Eagles' organization. The rotunda is not just an area to pass by on the way to practice, but it is an area of inspiration within the NovaCare Complex, where both players and staff members can gain insight.

Here is a look at the four images.

Eagles Hall of Fame cornerback Troy Vincent

"Football is a game of controlled anger. It is a game of retribution. It's about will. That's why the work ethic of football is so important. That's why the structure of the game is so important." – Keith Jackson, ABC Sports announcer

The quote represents many different aspects of the game of football, but also stresses the importance of a player's demeanor within the game itself.

Troy Vincent is a man of class. In his 2012 induction into the Philadelphia Eagles Hall of Fame, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jeffrey Lurie complimented Vincent on his selfless personality and the way in which he carried himself on a daily basis. Fans, coaches and players all trusted Vincent whether it was on or off the field, and he still continues to serve as a great example of what a football player should be as the Executive Vice President of Football Operations for the NFL.

Eagles Hall of Fame running back Brian Westbrook

"There is only one way to succeed in anything, and that is to give it everything." – Pro Football Hall of Fame coach Vince Lombardi

Brian Westbrook has given everything to the Eagles' organization, and has had an amazing football career, even during his college years. Westbrook holds various football records at Villanova, and put himself on the Eagles map in 2003 with his punt return, now referred to as the second "Miracle of the Meadowlands." As a recent inductee into the Eagles Hall of Fame, Westbrook continues to work with the organization and give back to the place that gave him his start.

Eagles Hall of Fame safety Brian Dawkins

"Leadership is based on a spiritual quality; the power to inspire, the power to inspire others to follow." – Anonymous

The quote fits.

Brian Dawkins was a natural leader within the Eagles' organization. Playing 13 seasons as an Eagle, Dawkins began making his mark early in his career. The young safety from Clemson was a second-round draft pick by the Eagles, and experienced both the highs and lows of football. His experiences shaped him into the athlete and the leader that so many Eagles players and fans know and respect. Dawkins was always there to lend words of advice, encouragement or even just to speak his mind, and others followed. Today, as Dawkins' image dons the halls of the NovaCare Complex, he serves as a reminder to current Eagles players and staff of leadership qualities that are important to the organization.

Former All-Pro and Pro Bowl linebacker Jeremiah Trotter

"The will to win is nothing without the will to prepare to win." – Anonymous

Former Eagles linebacker Jeremiah Trotter was selected in the third round of the 1998 NFL Draft, but had a different experience than he expected. Trotter didn't see playing time as a starter until his second season, the first under head coach Andy Reid. Trotter went through a lot during his rookie year and was also mourning the loss of his father, Myra. Although Trotter was not himself at the time, he had to persevere and work hard to make it as a starter for the Eagles.

The quote, "The will to win is nothing without the will to prepare to win," is a constant reminder that work ethic plays a huge role in a team's success, represented by a very deserving Eagles alumnus.
