No Practice For Vick, Maclin Limited

Quarterback Michael Vick did not practice on Wednesday due to soreness in his ribs following his first start in four games. Head coach Andy Reid was confident, however, that Vick will be able to start Sunday against the New York Jets.

Offensive tackle Todd Herremans (ankle), defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins (groin) and defensive end Darryl Tapp (ribs) also did not participate in practice. Herremans and Jenkins, along with Vick, did take part in the walkthrough Wednesday morning. Tapp did not take part in the walkthrough, but said after practice that his intention is to play Sunday despite having a broken rib.

Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin was limited in practice on Wednesday because of his hamstring injury. Maclin returned to the lineup last Sunday against the Dolphins after missing three games, but exited the game early due to the injury. Maclin is also on the injury report because of a previous shoulder injury.

Cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha (knee), running back Ronnie Brown (hamstring), wide receiver Riley Cooper (groin), defensive tackle Trevor Laws (knee) and cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (ankle) were full participants.

For the Jets, cornerback Marquice Cole (knee) and guard Brandon Moore (hip) did not participate in practice. According to Jets reporters, Moore's practice workload during the week is being reduced so he can be full-go on Sunday. Cole was injured on a punt in last Sunday's game and did not return.

Defensive tackles Mike Devito (knee) and Marcus Dixon (hip) and safety Eric Smith were limited in practice. Offensive tackle Vladimir Ducasse (knee), running back Shonn Greene (rib), center Nick Mangold (ankle), running back Joe McKnight (elbow), linebacker Calvin Pace (groin) and guard Matt Slauson (knee) were all full participants.

The only player whose status is in doubt for Sunday, according to Jets reporters, is Cole.
