Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (hip), left tackle King Dunlap (hamstring) and safety Colt Anderson (knee) all are not practicing today for the Eagles. Head coach Andy Reid said that Maclin, who reinjured his hip against the Baltimore Ravens, is very much day-to-day.
"Jeremy actually had a good day yesterday and he got treatment today, so we'll just see," Reid said. "I mean, he's tender but he is improving.
"I'm going to just see how it goes. I'm going to take it day by day. He made improvement. That's what I can tell you. Does he still have some soreness in there? Yeah. Will he practice today? No. But we'll see how he is tomorrow; literally take it day by day."
The immediate prognosis for Dunlap, meanwhile, is a touch more substantial.
"I'd say he's still sore," Reid said. "He's still sore, so we'll see. I think it will be a stretch for him to make it."
If Dunlap is unable to play Sunday against the Cardinals, the left tackle duties will be left to Demetress Bell, who opened Training Camp as the starter, only to cede the job to Dunlap. Bell came in to relieve the injured Dunlap in the second half last Sunday and acquitted himself well.
"I've felt like the last two, three weeks here, he's really got a pretty good grasp of things," Reid said of Bell. "It looks like he feels more comfortable and that's an important part of it. This gives him an opportunity to get in and possibly play. We'll see how it all works with King. If he gets in, I have full trust that he's going to do a great job. He's going to take the practice snaps today and probably tomorrow and a pretty good chance on Friday. So, we'll see how it all works."
Finally, Reid wanted to express his condolences on the passing of legendary NFL Films figure Steve Sabol.
"He was a good friend and we're all going to miss him," Reid said. "What a great compliment to the National Football League he was and a tribute to the National Football League that he was. Nobody did it better than him. I know his father is going to miss him dearly, along with the family. My heart goes out to him. He battled a tough battle with that brain cancer and he did it with a lot of pride and dignity. Again, the Philadelphia Eagles, myself, we're thinking of him."
FULL INJURY UPDATE: Maclin, Dunlap and Anderson were all listed as "Did not participate" on the Eagles' official injury report. Wide receivers DeSean Jackson (hamstring) and Riley Cooper (collarbone) were limited participants in practice, while wide receiver Jason Avant (wrist), cornerback Curtis Marsh (hamstring) and safety Nate Allen (shoulder) were all listed on the injury report as full participants.
ARIZONA INJURY REPORT: Tight end Todd Heap (knee) and quarterback John Skelton (ankle) did not participate in Wednesday's practice. Two starters on defense - linebacker O'Brien Schofield (knee) and strong safety Adrian Wilson (ankle) - and another on offense, guard Adam Snyder (elbow), were limited. Four other starters - guard Daryn Colledge (shoulder), tight end Jeff King (knee), free safety Kerry Rhodes (foot) and running back Beanie Wells (knee) - were among the players who were full participants.
