Friday's Injury Report

The Eagles ruled several players out ahead of Sunday's game against the Giants.

Wide receiver A.J. Brown (hamstring), cornerback Adoree' Jackson (concussion), center Cam Jurgens (knee), and outside linebacker Azeez Ojulari (hamstring) are all out due to injury. None of those players practiced all week.

Defensive end Brandon Graham will not make his season debut, as he, too, was ruled out after coming out of retirement. He was a full participant in practice all week, but said on Friday afternoon that he didn't know what his role would be for Sunday. Graham said he'll bring his trademark burst of energy in whatever capacity is asked of him.

The Eagles opened cornerback Jakorian Bennett's practice window this week. Bennett has been on Injured Reserve with a pectoral injury. Bennett was a full participant all week, but he will have to wait until after the bye to make his return to the lineup, as he was ruled out.

Wide receiver Darius Cooper also returned to practice this week as the Eagles opened his window on Thursday. Cooper has been on Injured Reserve with a shoulder injury. He is questionable for Sunday as the Eagles would need to open a roster spot and activate him by Saturday at 4 PM.

Tight end Grant Calcaterra will return to action after missing the past two games with an oblique injury. He was a full participant in practice on Friday and has no game status designation.

Linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr. exited Sunday's win over the Vikings early due to an ankle injury. He returned to practice on Thursday and is good to go for Sunday.

Brian Burns questionable, Giants secondary likely down two starters

The Giants officially ruled out starting cornerback Paulson Adebo for Sunday's game against the Eagles with a knee injury that he suffered last Sunday in Denver.

New York will also likely be without starting safety Jevón Holland due to a knee injury sustained against the Broncos. Holland was listed as doubtful for the game and did not practice all week.

Deonte Banks subbed in for Adebo at cornerback last Sunday, while Dane Belton saw an uptick in snaps on defense at safety in Holland's absence.

Outside linebacker Brian Burns, the league leader in both sacks and tackles for loss entering Week 8, is questionable. He practiced for the first time this week on Friday in a limited capacity due to a hip injury.

Reserve defensive lineman Chauncey Golston was ruled out for Sunday's game with a neck injury, while backup nose tackle D.J. Davidson is questionable with an ankle injury.

Starting center John Michael Schmitz (concussion) was a full participant on Friday and has no game status designation.

Starting wide receiver Darius Slayton, who missed the first matchup with the Eagles due to a hamstring injury, is set to play, despite being limited all week in practice.

Kicker Graham Gano (groin) was a full participant this week, but is questionable as the Giants will need to activate him off Injured Reserve, which is expected.

Thursday's Injury Report

A.J. Brown missed practice for a second time this week, as he's been sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Brown was one of four Eagles who did not participate in Thursday's practice, along with cornerback Adoree' Jackson (concussion), center Cam Jurgens (knee), and outside linebacker Azeez Ojulari (hamstring). All four of those players missed Wednesday's practice as well.

There are four changes from Wednesday's injury report, all of which are positive for the Eagles.

Cornerback Jakorian Bennett, who had his practice window opened this week, was a full participant as he spent the past four games on Injured Reserve due to a pectoral injury. Bennett was limited on Wednesday.

Wide receiver Darius Cooper, who had his practice window opened on Thursday, returned to practice for the first time since suffering the injury in the Week 3 win over the Rams. He was a full participant.

Tight end Dallas Goedert returned to full participation on Thursday after being limited on Wednesday due to a calf injury.

Linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr. returned to practice in a limited capacity on Thursday after missing Wednesday's session due to an ankle injury suffered in the win over Minnesota.

Brian Burns misses practice again on Thursday

Giants outside linebacker Brian Burns was one of three defensive starters who missed practice for a second straight day on Thursday.

Burns told reporters, "I'm good," for Sunday's NFC East rematch with the Eagles, but a hip injury has sidelined him thus far.

Cornerback Paulson Adebo and safety Jevón Holland suffered knee injuries in the loss to the Denver Broncos and have been sidelined with Burns to start the practice week.

The only changes from Wednesday's injury report were that starting center John Michael Schmitz, who is in the concussion protocol, was a full participant after being limited on Thursday. Reserve defensive lineman and special teamer D.J. Davidson was downgraded from a limited participant on Wednesday to a non-participant on Thursday.

Other notable injuries include starting right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor, who has been limited with a knee injury, and wide receiver Darius Slayton, who has also been limited, but with a hamstring injury. Slayton missed the past two games, including the first matchup with the Eagles, due to the injury.

Kicker Graham Gano is on track to return to action after being placed on Injured Reserve with a groin injury.

Wednesday's Injury Report

Wide receiver A.J. Brown (hamstring) and center Cam Jurgens (knee) were among the Eagles who did not participate in Wednesday's practice due to injury.

Brown posted a season-high 121 receiving yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's win over the Vikings, featuring a 26-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter that proved to be the winning points as well as a 45-yard deep ball on third-and-9 with 1:45 remaining to put the game away.

Jurgens suffered the injury early in the game, but gutted through 15 offensive snaps before exiting. He was replaced in the lineup by veteran Brett Toth.

"He's always going to do everything he can do, and our trainers, our doctors, and our strength staff will do everything they can do to get him back going as soon as possible," Head Coach Nick Sirianni said of Jurgens before practice. "We'll see where we are. You'll get the injury report later today, but we'll see where we are as the week continues and where Cam is."

Cornerback Adoree' Jackson (concussion) and outside linebacker Azeez Ojulari (hamstring) also did not participate in Wednesday's practice, along with special teams ace Jeremiah Trotter Jr. (ankle). All three were injured in the win over Minnesota. Defensive Coordinator Vic Fangio said he doesn't expect Ojulari to be available for Sunday's rematch with the Giants.

Defensive end Brandon Graham, who signed his contract to come out of retirement on Tuesday, was a full participant, but it is not known if he will be active for Sunday's game after not being on the field since Super Bowl LIX in February.

The Eagles opened cornerback Jakorian Bennett's practice window on Wednesday. He was a limited participant with a pectoral injury that landed him on Injured Reserve.

Pro Bowl guard Landon Dickerson (ankle/back), tight ends Grant Calcaterra (oblique) and Dallas Goedert (calf), and defensive tackle Moro Ojomo (shoulder) were all limited.

Brian Burns misses practice, but 'good' for Sunday

The NFL's leader in sacks and tackles for loss, Giants defensive end Brian Burns, missed Wednesday's practice due to a hip injury.

When asked by reporters on Wednesday about his status for the rematch with the Eagles, Burns said, "I'm good."

Burns posted seven tackles and two sacks against the Eagles in Week 6.

Cornerback Paulson Adebo, who also had seven tackles in the first meeting, missed practice with a knee injury that he suffered last Sunday against the Broncos. Starting safety Jevon Holland also left the Broncos game with a knee injury and did not practice on Wednesday. Special teamer and defensive lineman Chauncey Golston did not practice on Wednesday with a neck injury that kept him out of the Broncos game.

The Giants opened kicker Graham Gano's practice window to come off Injured Reserve. He was a full participant with a groin injury. Jude McAtamney missed two extra point attempts in the Giants' one-point loss to Denver on Sunday.

Quarterback Jaxson Dart was listed as a full participant on the injury report with an ankle injury.
