Eagles vs. Cardinals injury report

Ahead of the team's trip to Arizona, the Eagles updated their Game Status report:

• DB Grayland Arnold (hamstring) – Arnold was downgraded to OUT and will not play Sunday. Arnold could have provided extra depth in the secondary and on special teams. Instead, he will miss his second straight game.

• RB Jason Huntley (illness) – Huntley was added to the injury report with an illness. He will not travel with the team and is OUT for Sunday. He has primarily been inactive all season.

• CB Darius Slay (concussion) – Slay was downgraded to OUT and will not travel with the team. He suffered a concussion against the Saints last Sunday. He was a limited participant in practice this week.

Here's a look at the final injury report of the week heading into Sunday's showdown with Arizona.

Out

• T Jack Driscoll (knee) – The Eagles placed Driscoll on Injured Reserve shortly after the injury report was released. Matt Pryor will start at right tackle.

• CB Avonte Maddox (knee) – Maddox was also placed on Injured Reserve. There are questions regarding who will start where in the secondary on Sunday (see below).

Questionable

• DB Grayland Arnold (hamstring) – Arnold missed Sunday's win over the Saints with the injury, but was a limited participant in practice this week.

• DT Malik Jackson (concussion) – Jackson was a full participant in practice on Friday, but he still needs to be cleared by an independent neurologist in order to play.

• CB Darius Slay (concussion) – Slay was a limited participant at Friday's practice. Like Jackson, he'll need to be cleared by an independent neurologist in order to play.

Good to Go

Linebacker T.J. Edwards (hamstring), safety/special teamer Rudy Ford (hamstring), and cornerback Michael Jacquet (hamstring) are all set to play after missing time with their injuries.

Cardinals Injuries of Note

Offensively, RB Chase Edmonds (ankle) is questionable. Whether he plays or not, that could signal a bigger workload for starter Kenyan Drake. Starting LG Justin Pugh is also questionable with a calf injury. K Zane Gonzalez missed last Sunday's game with a back injury and was ruled out for Sunday. Mike Nugent will be called up from the practice squad to kick.

Defensively, DE Jordan Phillips (hamstring) and S Jalen Thompson (ankle), both starters, are out for Sunday. CB Dre Kirkpatrick (hamstring) returned to practice in a limited capacity on Thursday. He is questionable for Sunday.

Some good news for the Eagles, especially in the secondary, on Thursday's injury report.

Did Not Participate

• T Jack Driscoll (knee) – Head Coach Doug Pederson said on Wednesday that Driscoll will "miss some time" with the injury.

• CB Avonte Maddox (knee) – Coach Pederson said the same about Maddox on Monday.

Limited Participation

• DB Grayland Arnold (hamstring) – Arnold missed Sunday's win over the Saints with the injury, but returned to practice on Thursday. The injuries in the secondary could mean Arnold's first taste of playing on defense if he's available.

• LB Shaun Bradley (neck) – Bradley was the only player added to the injury report on Thursday, but the position is already dealing with injuries to T.J. Edwards, Nathan Gerry, and Davion Taylor.

• LB T.J. Edwards (hamstring) – At least Edwards is trending in the right direction after missing last week's game.

• DT Malik Jackson (concussion) – Jackson's limited participation is an encouraging sign, but he'll need to be cleared by an independent neurologist in order to play.

• CB Michael Jacquet (hamstring) – Jacquet suffered the hamstring injury two weeks ago against the Packers and did not practice at all last week, so it's good that he didn't suffer a setback after practicing on Wednesday.

• CB Darius Slay (concussion) – Slay returned to practice on Thursday after missing Wednesday's session. Like Jackson, he'll need to be cleared by an independent neurologist in order to play.

Full Participation

• DT Fletcher Cox (rest) – After his normal rest day on Wednesday, Cox was back at it on Thursday.

• S Rudy Ford (hamstring) – After returning in a limited fashion on Wednesday, Ford had his first full practice since Week 10.

• DE Josh Sweat (shoulder) – Sweat was limited on Wednesday, but full-go on Thursday.

Cardinals Injuries of Note

Offensively, RB Chase Edmonds (ankle) has yet to practice this week and his status is up in the air for Sunday's game. LG Justin Pugh has also not yet practiced this week with a calf injury. K Zane Gonzalez missed last Sunday's game with a back injury and has also not practiced this week. WR DeAndre Hopkins missed both days of practice this week for a non-injury reason, but he's been given rest days all season.

Defensively, DE Jordan Phillips (hamstring) and S Jalen Thompson (ankle), both starters, have not practiced this week. LB De'Vondre Campbell (ankle) and CB Dre Kirkpatrick (hamstring) returned to practice in a limited capacity on Thursday.

The Eagles had 10 players on their initial injury report Wednesday as they began to prep for Sunday's matchup with the Arizona Cardinals. That does not include safety Rodney McLeod, who was officially placed on Injured Reserve earlier in the day.

Did Not Participate

• DB Grayland Arnold (hamstring) – The rookie free agent was a game-time decision against the Saints, but didn't play. He's only played on special teams, but the injuries in the secondary could press him into defensive duty if he's able to play.

• DT Fletcher Cox (rest) – The norm for Fletcher Cox on Wednesdays.

• T Jack Driscoll (knee) – Head Coach Doug Pederson said on Wednesday that Driscoll will "miss some time" with the injury.

• CB Avonte Maddox (knee) – Coach Pederson said the same about Maddox on Monday.

• CB Darius Slay (concussion) – Slay suffered a concussion on the same play in the third quarter of Sunday's game where McLeod suffered his knee injury. This will be a key injury to monitor with the Cardinals' wide receiver duo of DeAndre Hopkins and Larry Fitzgerald.

Limited Participation

• LB T.J. Edwards (hamstring) – Some good news here! The starting middle linebacker could return to the lineup after missing the win over the Saints.

• S Rudy Ford (hamstring) – Another positive sign for the special teams unit as Ford practiced for the first time since Week 10.

• DT Malik Jackson (concussion) – Jackson suffered the injury against the Saints. The defensive tackle rotation has been strong with the emergence of Javon Hargrave, so Jackson's absence would be a big loss.

• CB Michael Jacquet (hamstring) – Jacquet suffered the hamstring injury two weeks ago against the Packers and did not practice at all last week, so this is a positive sign with Maddox out and Slay's status up in the air for Sunday.

• DE Josh Sweat (shoulder) – Coach Pederson said that Sweat would be good for Sunday's game.
