Eagles place T Jack Driscoll, CB Avonte Maddox on Injured Reserve

The Eagles announced on Friday that they have placed tackle Jack Driscoll and cornerback Avonte Maddox on Injured Reserve. Both players suffered knee injuries in Sunday's win over the Saints.

Driscoll, a 2020 fourth-round pick out of Auburn, showed plenty of promise starting four games at right tackle, including the season opener at Washington. Matt Pryor will start in Driscoll's place on Sunday at Arizona.

Maddox played in 10 games, his first full season as the starter on the outside opposite of Darius Slay. He missed three games earlier in the year with an ankle injury. Maddox posted 50 tackles and six pass breakups in 508 snaps on defense. The cornerback picture is up in the air heading into Sunday's game as Slay is questionable with a concussion.

The Eagles did not announce any corresponding moves to fill the open spots on the active roster.
