Eagles vs. Buccaneers inactives

The Eagles will be without starting guard Nate Herbig (ankle) defensive end Josh Sweat (illness) today against the Buccaneers. Here is the full list of inactives:

• DB Andre Chachere

• CB Tay Gowan

• G Nate Herbig – Sua Opeta is expected to start at right guard.

• RB Jason Huntley – Huntley was promoted from the practice squad this week, but with Miles Sanders back Huntley is caught in the numbers game.

• QB Reid Sinnett

• DE Josh Sweat – See the below tweet from Eagles Insider Dave Spadaro. Ryan Kerrigan is projected to start opposite of Derek Barnett.

• DB Kary Vincent Jr.

The good news is that running back Miles Sanders is active after suffering a fractured hand against the Giants in Week 16. Tight end Richard Rodgers, who was promoted from the practice squad on Saturday, is active, along with practice squad elevations guard/tackle Kayode Awosika, wide receiver KeeSean Johnson, and defensive end Cameron Malveaux.

Here are the projected starting lineups:

OFFENSE

WR: DeVonta Smith, Jalen Reagor, Quez Watkins

TE: Dallas Goedert

RB: Miles Sanders

QB: Jalen Hurts

DEFENSE

DL: Ryan Kerrigan, Javon Hargrave, Fletcher Cox, Derek Barnett

LB: Genard Avery, T.J. Edwards, Alex Singleton

The Buccaneers are without starting cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting due to a hamstring injury. SMB did not play against the Eagles in Week 6 as he was on Injured Reserve.

Note that the Bucs did not activate running back Leonard Fournette from Injured Reserve, so he is out today along with No. 2 running back Ronald Jones. Running back Giovani Bernard was activated off Injured Reserve, along with linebacker Lavonte David. Bernard had just eight carries during the regular season. Ke'Shawn Vaughn is the leading running back available today for the Bucs.

Starting cornerback Carlton Davis III was added to the injury report on Friday, but he is active.
