Eagles Re-Sign LB Hepburn

The Eagles re-signed linebacker Brandon Hepburn on Monday. Hepburn finished the 2014 season on the team's practice squad. Last week, the Eagles brought back the other nine practice squad players on futures contracts: guard Josh Andrews, running back Kenjon Barner, tackle Kevin Graf, defensive tackle Wade Keliikipi, quarterback G.J. Kinne, wide receiver Will Murphy, wide receiver Quron Pratt, safety Ed Reynolds II and running back Matthew Tucker.

Three players who were signed to futures contracts last season had key roles for the 2014 Eagles: linebacker Emmanuel Acho, defensive end Brandon Bair and center David Molk.

Here's a look at theĀ 10 players who will be back to compete for roster spots next season:

G Josh Andrews - A rookie free agent out of Oregon State last season, Andrews worked in as an interior lineman at both guard and center in the preseason. He spent the entire season on the practice squad.

RB Kenjon Barner - Acquired in a trade from Carolina late in the preseason, Barner battled for the No. 3 running back spot but lost out to Chris Polk. Also boasts experience as a return specialist. A former pupil of Chip Kelly at Oregon, Barner was brought back to the practice squad in early November.

T Kevin Graf - Graf was a three-year starter at USC who joined the Eagles as a rookie free agent. Graf was promoted to the active roster for three weeks during the season, but spent the last 13 weeks on the practice squad. Worked in as a third-team right tackle during the preseason.

LB Brandon Hepburn -A seventh-round draft choice of the Lions in 2013, Hepburn spent his rookie season on Detroit's practice squad and was with the team through the end of the 2014 preseason. He originally joined the Eagles' practice squad back in Week 2, but was released and re-signed in early October.

DT Wade Keliikipi - Learned under Jerry Azzinaro at both Oregon and in his first year with the Eagles. A rookie free agent out of Oregon, Keliikipi played at the nose in the preseason and spent the entire year on the practice squad.

QB G.J. Kinne - Kinne has spent the better part of the past two seasons on the practice squad. The former Tulsa quarterback was originally signed by the Jets as a rookie free agent in 2012. Completed 12 of 14 passes for 135 yards and a touchdown in the 2014 preseason.

WR Will Murphy - The former Oregon product has spent the past two seasons on the team's practice squad. Murphy had six catches for 49 yards in the 2014 preseason.

WR Quron Pratt - A rookie free agent out of Rutgers, Pratt spent the entire season on the practice squad. Pratt had seven catches for 96 yards in the preseason.

S Ed Reynolds II - The fifth-round pick out of Stanford spent the entire year on the practice squad. Reynolds was a former All-America selection at Stanford after intercepting six balls in 2012.

RB Matthew Tucker - This was Tucker's second year with the Eagles after originally joining as a rookie free agent in 2013. He was promoted to the active roster in October 2013 and played in two games. This year, Tucker finished second on the team in preseason rushing yards and spent the entire season on the practice squad.
