Eagles Clinch Playoff Spot With Win And Some Help

The Eagles are 9-4 after their fourth-straight win Sunday night over the New York Giants. The Eagles hold a one-game lead over the Dallas Cowboys for first place in the NFC East and if the playoffs started today they would be the No. 3 seed thanks to Arizona's 24-9 loss last night to San Francisco.

If the Eagles win this Sunday against the 49ers, they can clinch a playoff spot but would need some help. Either the Dallas Cowboys, who at 8-5 would currently be the No. 6 seed in the NFC playoffs, have to WIN on Saturday night in New Orleans OR the New York Giants would have to LOSE Monday night at Washington. Since Eagles fans will certainly not cheer for the former, you'll have to count on the latter happening.
