Eagles place three players on the Reserve/COVID-19 list

The Eagles placed safety Andrew Adams, defensive end Matt Leo, and linebacker Alex Singleton on the Reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday. The Reserve/COVID-19 list was created for a player(s) who either tests positive for COVID-19 or who has been in close contact with an infected person or persons.

Adams was signed by the Eagles in the offseason after winning a Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The sixth-year veteran started his career with the New York Giants and has started 32 career regular-season games to add depth and experience at both the safety and special teams positions.

Defensive end Matt Leo spent last season with the team as part of the NFL International Pathway Program. The native of Australia played 29 career games at Iowa State.

Singleton, a third-year linebacker, had a breakout 2020 season, leading the Eagles with 119 tackles, the most by an Eagles linebacker since DeMeco Ryans in 2013. He also led the team with 296 special teams snaps and posted a career-high nine special teams tackles.

The Eagles hit the field Wednesday morning for their first Training Camp practice. Head Coach Nick Sirianni will address the media following practice.

More Roster Moves: The Eagles also placed tackle Le'Raven Clark and safety Rodney McLeod on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list, and offensive lineman Landon Dickerson on the Active/Non-Football Injury list.
