Faced an unconventional path to the NFL, as he couldn't enter the transfer portal after his time at Montana Tech due to the program being NAIA, so he had to share social media clips of his film with different programs in order to garner interest ... After some time, was contacted by Idaho and he enrolled there ... Played two seasons at Idaho before transferring to New Mexico where he earned all-conference honors
While at Montana Tech, was initially focused on securing an engineering degree, voicing a passion for buildings and construction before his football career took off ... Has interest in returning to the engineering field after his playing days are over
