Surgery For Abiamiri, Marlin Jackson

The Eagles announced on Wednesday morning that defensive end Victor Abiamiri (Achilles) and safety Marlin Jackson (sports hernia) have undergone surgery to repair their respective injuries.

Abiamiri was placed on the Injured Reserve list on August 4. His surgery took place Tuesday at Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. The operation was performed by Dr. Steve Raikin of the Rothman Institute.

Jackson's procedure also took place on Tuesday at Thomas Jefferson. The operation was performed by Dr. Bill Meyers.

The Eagles host a mock game (closed to the public) this morning at Lehigh University before Thursday night's preseason opener against Baltimore. The game kicks off at 7:30 PM and can be seen on 6abc or heard on 94 WYSP and PhiladelphiaEagles.com.
